Job Opening: Programmer Analyst/Level 2 Support, CIRCLE OF CARE

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Information Thechnology Services the Programmer Analyst/Level 2 Support will be responsible for intermediate level programming.  The programmer will also assist with process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments  and will contribute to systems architecture analysis, design, development, and problem resolution.


Job Responsibilities:

    Assist with process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments.
    Contribute to systems architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement.
    Work as project team member during end to end system life cycle development of major projects.
    Lead minor projects and assists staff with minor projects.
    Provide technical input to risk analysis and change control.
    Accurately report project status to senior project team members
    Assist with the development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends.
    Contribute to business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design.
    Assist with comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and preparation of business cases for new projects.
    Track customer problems Analyze, solve or escalate problems reported by customers and provide follow-up


Job Qualifications:

    Bachelor degree in Computer Science
    Minimum 3 years experience in programming
    Abilities in database design, development, and enhancement within RDBMS.
    Languages required:  Microsoft .NET, PHP, VBScript
    Operating Systems: Microsoft XP, 7, Server 2008; Linux
    Databases:  Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
    Software:  Crystal or other reporting tools, MS Office
    Perl, iOS Application Development skills and an understanding of VOIP technologies, Citrix Zen Server are assets.
    Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
    Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    Ability to work in a high pace environment and handle stressful situations.

Salary Range:  $45,000 - $60,000
