Company Accountant

Our client is well established business based near Junction 21 of the M1. They are a forward thinking and dynamic business with strong ambitions for growth. As Company Accountant you will report to the Directors of the business and be a key member of the team.

·You will be a very hands-on accountant with strong interpersonal skills who is willing to get involved in all areas of the business.

·The role will be extremely varied covering a wide variety of tasks.

·Responsible for movement of cash around various financial institutions.

·Monthend reconciliations

·Management of the banking facility

·Production of managements accounts/information

·Budgets and Forecasts

·Assisting from time to time with production of client accounts – producing accounts, P &L and Balance sheets.

·Forecasting needs of business

·Updating the purchase/sales/nominal ledgers

It is envisaged the successful candidate may have trained in practice and moved into industry. You will be a team player who is happy to handle a varied workload and be involved in all areas of finance.

You will be preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant. However candidates who are part-qualified or AAT/QBE are welcome to apply. Background wise we are seeking an individual who has preferably worked in either an import/export business or financial services (this is advantageous not essential).
