<strong>Job Description / Qualification</strong>

Assistant Financial Accountant

Maldon Partners has been asked to assist a German Banking Group's London branch in their search for an Assistant Financial Accountant for an 18 month contact. The role will sit within the London finance team and report directly to the Financial Controller.

Job Responsibilities

    Assist with the preparation of the financial statements IFRS and German GAP
    Assist with the management of the bond portfolio of the Branch based on IFRS
    Statements regarding accounting issues
    Project work as required
    Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    Bank Reconciliations

Job Requirements

    Must be a part/newly qualified accountant
    Good working knowledge of SAP
    Good understanding of system landscape and processes
    High degree of accounting knowledge
    Good reconciliation skills
    Good Banking product knowledge especially with fixed income trading products
    German language skills would be an advantage but are not a must
