Job Description:    

INTEQNA is working with a client who is looking for a Deliver Manager who would be responsible for leveraging their technical expertise and exceptional leadership to not only provide the vision and direction for the continued evolution of our products but to build and drive delivery excellence across the program.

Job Responsibilities:

. Strategically lead a cross functional team that will deliver world-class solutions

. Create and implement technical and business solutions that support the delivery of our solutions

. Work in close collaboration with our Deployment, Implementation, Integration Testing and Practice Leadership teams to provide feedback and input as required, resolve difficult technical issues, and assist with the application of consistent practices.

. Provide vision and direction for the continued evolution of our products

. Lead and build a cross functional, multi-dimensional team of QAs, BAs, Developers and Architects and drive delivery excellence within that team

. Keep on top of the latest and emerging industry trends. Understand and work with new technologies to understand impact and applicability to our environment.

. Exercise leadership through superior domain knowledge

. Proactively identify areas for improvement, seek solutions and make recommendations in collaboration with our Working Group and/or Working Council.

. Create an environment of trust and openness where team members feel encouraged, empowered and enabled to take risks, innovate and deliver leading edge solutions

. Commit to ongoing personal professional development and to understanding emerging trends and industry best-practices in line with personal and program objectives.

Job Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

. Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in computer science or related field

. 10+ years of progressive experience in software implementation with specific expertise in one of the following disciplines: development, testing, architecture

. Significant experience with coaching, mentoring and team building.

. Software development familiarity and understanding of:

o at least one technology stack

o current Web and Web 2.0 technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and XSLT, Flash, streaming video/audio, social networking.

o web services, service-oriented architectures, legacy integration, workflow concepts, and multi-tiered secured business applications

. Proven ability to communicate in both technical and business terms.

. General IT knowledge (hardware, networking, OS, DBMS, middleware).

. Multi-disciplinary software development experience

o Able to cross the boundaries of QA, Development, BA, Infrastructure, project management.

o Experience implementing large scale solutions with large development teams.

. Strong technical understanding to provide scalable, efficient solutions to complex business problems

. Understanding of enterprise, network, infrastructure and database architecture.

. Experience in agile and XP methodologies/development

. Understanding of the relationship between architecture and business strategy and planning

. Strong motivation with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

. Assertive self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle several tasks efficiently

. Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive and readily embraces change

. Experience in internet, telephony, wireless, billing, provisioning or mediation systems would be a definite asset

. Particular attention to detail.

. Experience with Product management as asset
