Job Opening: Architectural Technologist
Location: Calgary, AB, CANADA

Position duties include the design and layout of building renovations, including direct contact with client departments, development of conceptual plans, and preparation of working drawings and specifications.  The candidate must have a current knowledge of building products, design procedures and building codes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Preparation of architectural working drawings on AutoCAD
-Update and maintain computerized facilities database
-Assembly and collation of information for proposed, and approved projects, in consultation with section coordinator

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

A related diploma in either Architectural Technology or Interior Design and a minimum of 2 years directly related experience is required.  Skill set required include proficiency with AutoCAD 2010, excellent oral and written communication skills, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.  Knowledge of Archibus FM, Sketch Up and Photoshop would be an asset.  Various combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Successful candidates must provide proof of qualifications. Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized.
