JOB OPPORTUNITY:

We have an exciting career opportunity available for a highly motivated professional to assume the role of Business Valuations Manager for a rapidly growing advisory practice in Alberta.  The successful candidate will be an individual with a proven track record of building and managing client relationships in the area of business valuations and litigation support.  The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Prepare expert reports for business valuation, damage claims, mergers, tax and estate planning, and forensic accounting investigations, etc.
-Assist in engagement planning, identifying key issues, methodologies and budget requirements .
-Prepare reports for quantifying damages and for litigations.  
-Prepare financial analysis and models.
-Delegate work to team members and supervise.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-A Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation is required.
-A Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in addition to a CBV is an asset.
-Ability to read and interpret financial and legal documents.
-Ability to prepare well-written reports and correspondence.
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, counsel, and other parties.
-Must possess a proven track record in business and client services. 
-Ability to work well independently and within a team.
