Job Opening: Project Controller, MAN DIESEL & TURBO CANADA LTD
Location: Hamilton, ON, CANADA; Mississauga, ON, CANADA; Oakville, ON, CANADA; Toronto, ON, CANADA

Job Responsibilities:

·         Analyzes, evaluates and forecasts based on progress and performance
·         Contract administration
·         Prepare and update, on a regular basis, project cash flow forecasts and budgets
·         Routinely consolidate data to provide standardised, accurate cost & schedule reports for Project Managers in a timely manner
·         Notifies Project Managers of any deviations or expected deviations from scope, schedule and/or budget and prepares Changes Notices as required
·         Update and evaluate the accuracy of the project forecast by assessing actual cost incurred and physical progress achieved for all phases of project
·         Oversee the coordination of project tasks with Finance, Procurement, and Engineering departments
·         Assists project manager in presentations/reports to the customer/company management
·         Provide ongoing improvements in project planning, scheduling, cost control and reporting
·         Review and highlight the risks/opportunities of projects

Job Skills:

·         Post Secondary Education in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management preferred or equivalent combination of education or experience
·         5-7 years of experience in a project controls function or equivalent Project Management experience
·         Contract knowledge is required
·         PMP designation is an asset
·         Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
·         Solid understanding of Cost & Scheduling concepts and tools
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         Advanced Microsoft Project, and expert Microsoft Excel skills
·         Team player with good communication proficiency
