Job Opening: Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB, CANADA

About our client:

Our client is a leading mid size EPCM firm specialized in the Oil and Gas sector.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in leading small team of engineers & designers for a projects
• P&ID inputs & selection of Instrument
• Development of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets & CV Sizing
• Instrument Installation details & location diagrams
• Preparation of Instrument Specifications
• Instrument Support to Mechanical Packages
• Preparation of RFQ, TBE and PO for field instrument & control systems.
• I/O list, assignment and loop drawing
• Preparing of Control Philosophy, Narrative & Shutdown Key
• Input to cable schedule & Junction box termination drawings
• Design of control panel & marshalling layouts
• Experience in Software configuration and programming is advantage

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering Degree/Technology Certification in Instrumentation/Controls or Electrical from Canada or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience as an Instrumentation and Control Specialist or Engineer in oil and gas industry
• Registration with APEGGA or P.Eng. is preferred
• Strong analytical, communication (oral & written) and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Operate with minimal supervision
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD support
