The Company Name:
This is a professional business services company based in Newport.  A vacancy has arisen for an Accountant to take control of the finance function within the business.
The Vacancy- Accountant:
As Accountant, you will be responsible for the control, supervision and upkeep of systems for the accounts function of the organisation. Responsibilities include full responsibility for the day to day running of the accounts function including: Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Work in Progress, Nominal Ledger, Credit Control, Bank reconciliation, VAT returns, Payroll and Management Accounts to Trial Balance.  The Accountant role reports directly to Senior Management.
The Candidate:
You will ideally be an AAT qualified Accountant.  You will also have extensive knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll software, as well as an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office.  Excellent working conditions.
