<strong>Job Description / Qualification</strong>

Small but growing accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Windsor, Berkshire have a requirement for a Senior Client Manager/Accountant to manage the smooth running of the practice as a result of expansion.  As the number 2 to the MD the Senior Client Manager/Accountant will have the ability to run the practice in the MD's absence.  You will also assist the MD with new business development and new client/prospect meetings and integration of new clients to the practice.  Key day-to-day contact point for clients.  Director level potential.

Key tasks will include :

Reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns and preparation during busy periods
Review of monthly / quarterly client management accounts - ability to provide commentary/advice to clients as necessary
Ensure smooth running of production team ensuring all service level targets are being met
Management of work planning and utilisation of resources
Oversee tax return processes
Oversee payroll processes
Manage company secretarial function for clients
Training, mentoring and development of the accounts team
Keeping up to date with all technical matters

The ideal Senior Client Manager/Accountant will be a qualified accountant with recent practice experience and in return you will receive a salary c£45k + bonus + future potential
