Job Opening: Informatica / Data Warehousing
Location: Calgary, AB, CANADA

Our Calgary based client has an immediate need for an Informatica / Data Warehousing consultant for a contract opportunity scheduled for a duration of 5 months.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical architecture and planning oversight for ETL (informatica) technical environment
- Plans / manages informatica operational tasks and discretionary work
- Coordinates onshore / offshore resource activities around maintenance outages and recommended tuning and changes to the environment as appropriate
- Provide oversight and act as the solution architect for the Infomatica related activities
- Collaborate with other technical support teams on technical architecture decisions, day-to-day operational support, issue resolution & escalation
- Be a role model to others in the team (quality of solutions, customer focus, continuous improvements, etc.)
- Develop, coach, and train other team members
- Ensure all service requests are managed and completed according to SLAs
- Participate in the on-call and maintenance window rotation
- Background job configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
- Resolution of production issues
- Document all procedures, processes, installation prerequisites, etc.
