<strong>Job Description / Qualification</strong>

My client, a listed mining and exploration company, is looking to recruit a Group Accountant to join their Central London-based head office. The successful applicant will be ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA recently-qualified or close to achieving qualification.

Job Responsibilities

* Ensuring effective completion of monthly and quarterly management reporting
* Consolidation of group entities
* Assisting with preparation of quarterly financial statements
* Ensuring group entity submissions comply with group reporting requirements
* Assisting with embedding group-wide financial controls

The ideal Group Accountant will possess the following attributes:

* Newly- or Part-Qualified from industry or practice
* Background or interest in the energy and natural resources sector
* Ideally experienced working in a medium-sized organisation
* Some previous IFRS exposure
* Must have management accounting and consolidation skills
