An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join our client, an expanding business in Hertfordshire. The Management Accountant role provides support to the business through the analysis of financial data and provision of timely and accurate reporting of key financial performance indicators.

Job Responsibilities

- Preparation of timely and accurate sales, stock and order book reports and forecasts
- Analysis of product and brand margins and monitoring of credit returns and rebates
- Preparation of draft management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis of profit and loss accounts and carrying out period end ledgers
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts
- Attendance at weekly trading meetings

The ideal Management Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:

- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills for liaison across the business
- Ability to work under pressure
