The Company
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of their client, a leading International Service Provider who are based in prestigious offices just outside Bolton. Due to a recent internal restructure and strong growth plans for 2012, our client are looking to add support to their existing Management Accounting team hence the creation of the new and exciting role.

The Role
The Assistant Management Accountant will report directly to the Senior Management Accountant and will be an integral part of the Management Accounts team. The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the balance sheet accounting, fixed assets, capital expenditure, cash and bank accounting and all journal preparation. Your role will specifically be the maintenance and integrity of the balance sheet, balance sheet reconciliations, period end accruals and prepayments, ensuring all journals are prepared and completed within the month end timeframe. This is the business as usual criteria however our client are looking for the successful Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Senior Management Accountant to review current monthly reporting processes, looking at KPI's and deliverables to the wider business, this giving the successful candidate much exposure commercially and operationally. The successful candidate will be at the early stages of CIMA/ ACCA with some exposure to a similar role with a strong desire to develop into a full Management Accountant role and complete your qualification. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, able to adapt to an ever changing environment and show a passion to move into a more commercially focused role in the next 2-4 years.

Salary & Benefits
£20k - £24k plus benefits and study package after completion of probation.
