EMEA General Ledger Accountant (Qualified) - Reading - £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits + Free Parking

Our client is a major player in the high-tech/IT sector with modern offices in the Reading area. Following a continued period of success there is a new requirement for a talented General Ledger Accountant (Financial Accountant) with expertise in UK & EMEA entity accounting and fluency in another European language.

The scope of this challenging and dynamic role covers management reporting for multiple entities throughout the UK and EMEA with responsibility for assisting with VAT reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and payroll accounting.

Ideally you'll have proven experience in a similar Financial Accountant / General Ledger Accountant role, with UK and European VAT (including returns) for various European entities, solid experience with multi-currency and international accounting and strong balance sheet experience. Ideally, candidates will have experience of using ERP systems such as Oracle or PeopleSoft.

ACCA or CIMA qualification is essential and candidates will need to have fluency in a second European language.
