JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a major national law firm, is searching for someone to work in a Help Desk Support role at their Calgary office. This is a six month contract position. The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical computer support and Help Desk services to lawyers and other staff, troubleshooting and resolving problems, providing support via telephone, remote connectivity and desk-side visits as necessary, updating the Help Desk tracking system, assisting with the implementation and/or upgrading of applications and systems, both on desktops and servers, and assisting with PC imaging and deployment. The ideal candidate must have advanced Microsoft Office 2007 or later skills, 2+ years experience in a Help Desk, applications support, and/or technical training role, and familiarity with PC, laptop, PDA and printer configuration.
