Job Opening: Permanent - Procurement Information Administrator

Our client is looking for a Procurement Information Administrator to join their dynamic and expanding team
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director SCM Enterprise Resource Planning, the Procurement Information Administrator will provide administrative, data management and document / records management support to the Procurement team, including the VP of Procurement, Directors, and Managers.
Job Responsibilities:
The Procurement Information Administrator will be responsible for:
Data management and processing.
Preparing expense reports.
Maintaining and enhancing the Procurement Access Database.
Updating processes to load information to the Procurement Access Database once Oracle PeopleSoft becomes an available source of Procurement information.
Collecting data from suppliers for calculating savings or processing bid analysis.
Working with vendors to obtain information and costing to support benchmarking analysis.
Standardizing supplier line item files using Excel workbooks before loading into the Procurement Access Database.
Coordinating and assembling information for internal and external distribution.
Maintaining of records and files, including collection, organization and filing of all confidential and business information.
Assisting with coding and processing invoices and expenses.
General administrative duties as required.
Assisting in the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
Completing detailed spreadsheet analysis using Excel and Access.
Requesting spend reports.
Assisting the Procurement department in organizing initiative documents, tracking contracts, and helping with communicating the establishment of new supply agreements.
Assisting in the day to day maintenance of Procurement, Travel, Fleet and Logistics SharePoint sites.Maintaining the procurement groups collection of documents well organized and classified (organizational charts, supply agreements, contracts).
When required, will aid various procurement groups in urgent projects or tasks.
Job Qualifications:
Technical:
Bachelors degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field.
12 years of experience in a business environment and management of data, programs and services.
Advanced computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Visual Basic for Applications would be considered an asset.
Exceptional time management skills.
Experience dealing with both external suppliers and internal customers.
Background in Procurement would be considered an asset.
Experience with SharePoint would be considered an asset.
Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft would be considered an asset.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with suppliers.
