Team Leader– Reporting and Analytics

If you have a passion for Reporting and Analytics, this is the position for you! We are searching for a Data Analyst/Programmer with a strong background in Excel and a working knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL. The Data Analyst will participate in the design, development, testing and maintenance of business applications such as reporting tools, and take responsibility for supporting the activities related to the collection, review, cleansing, quality and reporting of Learning and Development metrics in both CDC and LMS.

Strong analytical skills, technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, conceptual and logical models and physical data design are required, as well as experience with all aspects of the software development process.
We are seeking a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and highly developed problem solving abilities.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

· Prepare weekly reports for L&D pillars and Operations. Analyse trends and prepare recommendation on training gaps / requirements.
· Conduct adhoc analysis on training / knowledge gaps.
· Prepare recommendations and evolve L&D scorecard.
· Standardize reporting for Knowledge management front door including developing and maintaining tool to track requests and author time.
· Standardize reporting for Initial Training on CDC and LMS applications. Develop tool to track all initial training and cross training scores and staging scores.
· Complete a number of weekly and monthly reports and update and change reports on request. Develop new reports where appropriate
· Work with L&D pillars to build Action plan based on data mining with stagger approach to resolve issues

Job Essential Competencies/Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics or Computer Science
· 1-2 years experience with advanced proficiency with Excel and Excel Visual Basic and SQL (oracle);
· Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office suit products especially Powerpoint
· Strong statistical, interpretative, analytical and problem-solving skills;
· Demonstrated ability to utilize and manage large databases using analytical tools;
· Autonomous and disciplined self-starter who can work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
· Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Job Preferred Qualifications:

· Financial, Commerce or Engineering background
· Bilingual (English/French)
· Knowledge of Bell consumer market and products
