Job Vacancy: PROJECT MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee projects from beginning to end, ensuring scheduling, specifications and budgets are met.
Prepare scheduling for projects, coordinate, and monitor the progress, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
Negotiate and prepare changes with customers, suppliers, consultants and subcontractors.
Resolve any issues with customers ensuring contract agreements are met.
Enforce a safe work environment; ensuring workers comply with all policies, rules and regulations.
Participate in Health and Safety meetings as needed.
Ensure quality control is maintained.
Prepare, review and record various documents related to the project.
Track material and labour costs for each project, reviewing all schedules, costing and change notices.
Communicate between various departments and individuals - internal or external.
Other duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years related post-secondary education.
Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/Coordinator.
Must have several years' experience in construction, including field work.
Must have excellent leadership and training skills, with proven Project Management experience; PMP certification is highly recommended.
Must be proficient with various related software programs.
