Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

Our client is looking for a Information Security Expert responsible for Security Management: strategic and tactical activities necessary to establish and maintain a secure IT environment in an outsourcing environment. This position will also Implement information security requirements regarding the development centers, development projects, IT infrastructure and equipment.

Analyze assess and mitigate security risks in corporate environment and implement related security architecture. Additional responsibilities include:
Manage and execute Information Security projects.
Build and support information security processes.
Global design and deployment of the IT security infrastructure: including management and analysis of security tools.
Interfaces with all levels of management when necessary to ensure Information Security in outsourcing environment and for corporate.
Ongoing Project Involvement on Information Security Issues: Maintain ongoing consultation activities with the various project teams to assist them in meeting their project goals, by helping them resolve design, technology, and methodology issues related to Information Security.
Apply expert knowledge to initiate good security practices and planning.
Evaluate security features of new information products and systems.
Assess the impact of new technologies on existing or planned systems.
Prepare documents and technical specifications.
Requirements

CISSP and/or CISM certified with at list 2 years of seniority and 5 years of experience in Information Security.
Managerial experience of a security professional team,
Experience with security software and architectures; solid knowledge of information security principles and practices.
Familiarity with attack types and tools;
Familiarity with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Mail and Content Filtering, NAC, Endpoint protection and encryption, VPN solutions, VM Security, DLP, communication equipment, Digital Certificates, DNS and web security architecture.
Expertise/thorough understanding of IT Security technologies, including: Vulnerability scanners, network and host based intrusion detection systems and encryption key management.
Experience with Microsoft products, Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Windows client, Active Directory, Exchange server,IIS 4-7,hardening, NTFS, Office

Experience in web application security
Familiarity with information security standards
Effective time management and prioritization skills within a multi-tasking environment
Knowledge of monitoring and reporting solutions to proactively identify issues and mitigate risk
Experience in performance and analysis of penetration tests
Familiarity with UNIX
Good interpersonal and oral and written communication skills: ability to communicate complex issues to technical and business representatives.
Good presentation and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a teaming environment
