Job Opening: Technical Sales Specialist - Control Valves & Instruments
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada; Edmonton, AB, Canada

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Specialist (Oustside Sales) for the Control Valves and Instruments business unit. This position will be based out of Calgary and will report to the Manager, Control Valves & Instruments.
Your primary role will be to drive customer preference for Fisher products. To be successful in this role, you will work very closely with Account Managers, Territory Managers and Application Engineers to support the account planning process, develop trusting Customer relationships and untimately increase Customer loyalty. You will focus heavily on understanding the Customers' processes and delivering solutions to our Customers' problems.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive Customer satisfaction and Customer preference for Fisher products
Control valve product and application expertise
Strong understanding of Oilsands, Oil & Gas and other industry processes and applications
Champion the connection between our Customers' business challenges and our control valve / instrument solutions; support Quantified Business Results ("QBR") development
Strong team approach / collaberation with Account Managers, Territory Managers and Application Engineers
Presentation development and delivery
Develop and expand Customer relationships
Champion all Control Valve Business unit growth initiatives, support planning processes and plan execution


Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent Technology diploma
Related industry experience an asset
Control Valve, Instrument & Regulator product knowledge an asset
Proactive self starter with the ability to develop and execute action plans
Strong presentation skills (development and delivery)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well developed organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Strong team player
Valid drivers license, as travel will be required
Entrepreneurial work ethic
