Job Opening: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada


Job Responsibilities:

Ø Prepare mechanical equipment datasheets, MRQ's, TBE's, MRP's.
Ø Review/verify mechanical design of equipment.
Ø Perform mechanical calculations of various custom components.
Ø Initiate/follow through ABSA registrations.
Ø Potential for more responsibilities depending on performance.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Ø 5-10 years of directly related experience.
Ø Mechanical Engineering Degree
Ø Registration with APEGGA is preferred.
Ø Must have experience with different types mechanical equipment including Pressure Vessels, Pumps, Heat Exchangers.
Ø Familiarity with the industry codes relevant to the above equipment, specifically ASME Sec VIII Div 1 and API 610.
