Job Requirements:
. Ability to supervise and direct other process engineers
. Applies a sound knowledge of process engineering design principles to support the project work process. Provide direction and guidance to the design objectives with respect to project strategy and commercial objectives. Is able to work with minimum recourse to their supervisor
. Responsible for the analysis of technical issues, aided and supported by the other specialist disciplines
. Is required to be able to work successfully when under pressure adhering to budget and schedule constraints
. Support Business Development and sales activities when required. Provide support to Proposal Development and Reviews ensuring consistency and completeness, identify intelligent risk, and recommend contingencies
. Provide Health, Safety and Environment leadership. Is responsible for supervision of all process engineering and process safety activities within the department
. Ensures execution of engineering deliverables with respect to the process engineering discipline
. Assists in the development of work practices and procedures, supports proposal activities, estimates, design basis documents and project execution plans
. As directed, is responsible for the hiring of manpower, manpower projection and planning, and the technical development and training of staff
. On project work, plans and schedules of the engineering activities against the project plan. Monitors progress to ensure that deliverables are released to plan
. Is current with developing technologies in both process plant engineering, and the production tools. Prepares reports and recommendations for new technologies used in support of the work process
. Ensures that the design activities reflect minimum capital cost consistent with the project objectives
. Plans the discipline project resources to ensure efficient and cost effective execution adhering to budget and schedule constraints
. Develops and manages all engineering data, providing technical direction to discipline project staff to ensure that the client's objectives are achieved
. Coordinates the discipline engineering effort with procurement, and construction management and external third parties
. Provide continuous review of the quality of project work
Job Skills:
SAGD experience (Must Have)
P.Eng APEGGA or eligible (Must Have)
B. Sc. degree in Civil Engineering (Must Have)
-Gas plant / gas processing experience (Must Have)
