Job Opening: Instrumentation /Controls Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada

Job Requirements:

. Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer, the Instrumentation Specialist will provide multi project leadership to the project teams, ensuring that technical excellence, cost, schedule, and contractual requirements are achieved
. Responsible for working within the facility engineering team on detailed execution of small to medium sized capital projects
. Includes the development of work plans, scope of work and execution strategies, technical documents and engineering deliverables within your core scope of practice. Development and management of human and other resources as required to execute work plans
. Established corporate goals are to be achieved while client relations that enhance future business will be maintained
. Applies a sound knowledge of engineering design principles to support the project work process in the execution of multiple project
. Provide support to the project team in the execution of their project responsibilities. Must be capable and experienced in executing multi discipline small to medium sized projects
. Provide direction and guidance to the design objectives with respect to project strategy and commercial objectives as well as being able to work with minimum recourse to their supervisor
. Responsible for the analysis of technical issues within their core engineering discipline, aided and supported by the other specialist disciplines
. Required to be able to work successfully when under pressure adhering to budget and schedule constraints
. Must have a Bachelor Degree or related Technology Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
. Registration with APEGGA or ASET in the province of Alberta
. Must hold a minimum of ten years progressive discipline engineering or management experience in the Oil and Gas or related industries


Job Skills:

AutoPLANT Instrumentation (Must Have)
B. Sc. degree in Civil Engineering (Must Have)
P.Eng APEGGA or eligible (Must Have)
ASET Certified Engineeirng Technologist (Must Have)
Electrical instrumentation, process or controls (Must Have)
InTools (Nice to Have)
