Job Opening: Exploitation Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada

Job Responsibilities:

· Working in a team environment with geology, land, finance, and operations to define and execute on corporate goals

· Calculate, maintain and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the corporate reserves

· Evaluate potential acquisitions and present/recommended acquisition value to management

· Provide engineering support and work with the exploration team to develop existing and future company assets

· Evaluate the progress of the Company's waterflood strategies and recommend optimizations

· Conduct analysis on new and emerging exploration prospects including directing reservoir studies, as required

· Monitor and optimize the depletion strategies of the Company's new and existing pools

· Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience and must possess an Engineering degree or equivalent technical training

· The ideal candidate will have experience in SE SK or SK Viking experience

· Fundamental reservoir engineering skills will be an asset

· Production forecasting, economics, acquisition and disposition evaluation experience

· An understanding of governing oil and gas regulations

· Excellent computer skills are required, with the ability to quickly learn new software

· Candidates must be self-motivated, have strong organizational and presentation skills and should thrive on managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong computer proficiency
