Job Opening: Business Analyst
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada

Our client has an immediate requirement for a strong seasoned Business Analyst.

Background:
As the project progresses to implementation, the continued involvement of GIS business analysts is required to ensure defined business and technical requirements are clear and are appropriately implemented.

Job Requirements:

Demonstrated experience facilitating requirements discovery sessions with client groups >10 years
Demonstrated ability to document requirements >10 years
Stakeholder management experience >10 years
Knowledge of and ability to apply GIS technologies
Knowledge of software development methodologies
Strong team skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills
Advanced MS Office user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) - Expert

Job Desired Skills:

Experience with ESRI products to solve complex business problems
Experience with HP Blueworks Live process modeling software
Direct experience in the integration of ArcGIS with permitting/regulatory, process modeling, decision support, upstream and downstream resource management systems, environmental monitoring, business intelligence, data and metadata warehousing, and document management systems
Additional experience with development of Internet and intranet applications for public access and desktop applications for site assessment and other spatial modeling exercises
Familiarity with mobile applications for data collection
Oracle WAM Application knowledge would be an asset
