An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join them on a temporary basis at their Tamworth site. This is an ideal first career opportunity for someone who wishes to follow a vocation into management accounting.

You will assist the Site Accountant in providing a full management accounting service to the business including financial administration, planning and reporting. Whilst adhering to company reporting deadlines, you must ensure accounts / forecasts are accurate and produced on a monthly basis. You will be involved in the preparation and submission of annual budgets and assist in monitoring business plans and reviewing performance on a monthly / quarterly basis.

Financial analysis forms part of this role and the successful candidate will be regularly monitoring sales against budget, reviewing trading accounts and identifying any anomalies. You must provide reasoning to the Site Management and the Executive Team and explain variances in a report to head office in Brussels.

All they ask is that candidates are educated to degree level or equivalent, have the ability to work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. With exceptional organisational skills, you will have a good knowledge of Excel, be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
