Our client, a B2B publishing company, seeks a newly qualified management/systems accountant.

Responsibilities will include:

Year End Accounts: Producing final accounts and consolidation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals/prepayments/adjustments and profit and loss

Budgets/Forecasts/Monthly reporting: Review of trading, producing detailed management accounts and revenue/costs analysis. Also KPIs, collating/reviewing budgets and plans, producing cash flow projections and assessing foreign currency exposure.

Systems: Maintenance of Sun accounts systems and periphery products, development of Sun system to meet business needs, development of budgeting/forecasting templates, specification and documentation of accounting processes and procedures to meet the changing needs of the business.

Tax: Producing quarterly UK/overseas VAT returns, corporation tax returns, PAYE reconciliations

A qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA), you will have a genuine interest in systems and a willingness to improve. With strong IT skills, you will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial issues to non financial individuals.
