Qualified ACCOUNTANT

Our Client a major retail banking organisation based in Central London, is looking for a highly

experienced ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified Senior Account in Group Finance.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Financial Reporting team to support delivery of timely, robust and relevant internal financial information. Senior Accountant will be responsible for some of the smaller subsidiaries of within the group.

The role would suit:

Someone who has proven good experience in financial reporting and the preparation of statutory accounts.
Someone who is highly organised and goal focused with the ability to deliver against tight and demanding deadlines – a "can do attitude" is an absolute necessity.
The person must be a proactive team player with a strong focus on process improvement, pragmatic and able to incorporate new reporting requirements into the business as usual environment with appropriate coaching and training.

Applicants should obtain the following:
* ACA qualified (applicants with the necessary experience are likely
to have been qualified for 2 years+)
* Excellent track record of financial accounting experience
* Excellent management and motivational skills, with a flair for developing others
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise conflicting workloads
* Innovative, logical, analytical and probing approach to problem solving
* Confident, with good interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written skills
* Strong PC skills including Excel & PeopleSoft
* Thorough understanding of financial systems and processes
* Demonstrable PRIDE values including a positive and flexible approach
