Job Opening: Process Engineer - Senior
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada
Job Responsibilities:
Works independently on the following areas of design. Makes own recommendations and conclusions with little to no input from others. This engineer is expected to approve and stamp their work. Work is reviewed in accordance with company standards. Gives technical guidance to several process engineers. Acts as a lead engineer on smaller projects. May be required to go to a field location for data gathering or troubleshooting assignments.

Calculate Utility Requirements
Calculate Chemical and Catalyst requirement
Calculate Relief Loads
Size Relief Valves
Instrument Data Sheets
Equipment Data Sheets
Line Designation Tables
P&ID Development to IFC
Write Process Description
Write Process Narratives
Prepare Equipment Sizing Summaries
Other
Identification of scope changes or trends
Create and manage to the manpower plans (Earned Value)
Plan and schedule the activities
Performance Feedback and Evaluations
Job Requirements:
10-15 years experience
Engineering degree in Chemical, Petroleum or similar discipline
Experience in Upstream Oil and Gas Processing and Thermal Heavy Oil required for debottlenecking work
APEGGA registered member, PEng required
Experience in Oil & Gas projects including some of the following areas: heavy oil facilities, well tie-ins, pipelines, compressor stations, and field gas processing facilities.
Familiarity with codes (CSA Z662, ASME B31.3)
Ability to coordinate other engineering disciplines.
Experience in P&ID development and preparation of key project documentation such as specifications, data sheets, requisitions, and contracts.
Familiar with MS Office including MS Projects
