Job Opening: Network Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada; Edmonton, AB, Canada

Job Purpose

The Network Engineer will perform environment analysis, produce recommendation reports, and ensure deployment and installation of enterprise solutions related to routing, switching and security (Cisco and HP). The Network Engineer will participate in the implementation, rollout, installation, maintenance, optimization, and documentation activities concerning the IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Analyzes product and client requirements and contributes to the design of technical solutions to support business needs.
2. Provides troubleshooting and optimization for technical problems within several areas.
3. Participates in technology analysis and recommendations activities for clients implementation projects.
4. Evaluates the work to be performed and the required documentation in scope of work;
5. Evaluates, designs, and implements technical solutions.
6. May be involved in selling Professional Services related client solutions.

Job Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years designing, leading and delivering complex IT projects requirements
2. A proven track record of successful solution delivery
3. Knowledgeable of IT-related business operations and sales processes
4. Strong familiarity with the methodologies and techniques of technical development, implementation, and operational management.
5. Self-sufficient and resourceful
6. Ability to concurrently run several projects
7. Very thorough and capacity for synthesizing
8. Available for support 24/7 and ready to work occasionally evenings and weekends during rollout periods.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in computer science.
2. In-Depth Knowledge of Key Vendors Solutions
3. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
4. Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
