Our client based in Gloucester is currently looking to recruit for a Management Accountant to work in their busy offices.

Main Duties:
* Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management information for interpretation by financial and non financial management
* Provide financial advice and guidance to line management to assist in their interpretation and understanding of financial statements and the financial position of their operations and decisions
* Prepare budgets and forecasts to meet company and statutory requirements
* Preparation of internal Management information and cover for preparation of Customer Management Information
* Assist in the development of new MI systems such that the financial improvements and benefits are realised
* Prepare financial models and costings to assist the Business Development Team to secure new and profitable contracts
* Ensure all company financial policies and procedures are adhered to at all times so that consistency and compliance is maintained
* Support operational management providing financial and commercial advice for the resolution of contractual issues
* Develop systems and processes to measure and optimise product and customer profitability
* Cover and assistance to the Financial Accountant

Key Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience within a Management Accountant role or similar position is essential
* CIMA or ACCA qualified is a pre-requisite
* Highly client focused approach and strong commercial awareness is essential
* Enthusiastic approach and passion for finance and figures
* Personable with strong communication and influencing skills
* Analytical skills
IT Skills
* MS Excel is essential
* Great Plains experience or familiar with similar finance operating systems
* Outlook Soft would be beneficial
* Database knowledge with ability to pick up new systems with ease
* SQL or Crystal reporting would be advantageous
