Job Description / Qualification
A large exciting sales company is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to work on a 6 month contract in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to take on responsibility across a wide range of tasks.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will have responsibilities including the compilation of the monthly Management Accounts, Forecasting, Budgeting, Segment Reviews, reviewing Financial Systems and Processes, as well as forecast spend and analysis for Capital Expenditure. You will also be covering the Senior Management Accountant role during times of absence.
Essential
-CIMA part-qualified or similar qualification.
-The ability to communicate and make recommendations to senior management.
-The ability to communicate with various teams across the business.
-Experience in working to deadlines.
Desirable
-Experience in providing accounting support across a range of organisational backgrounds.
-The flexibility to work additional hours at busy periods such as month end.
-Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, Business Objects or Cognos.
