Our client, a dynamic International Design practice is seeking a competent Management Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this newly created accounts role involves producing monthly management accounts which include profit and loss balance sheets and forecasts to the end of the year. This also involves submitting VAT returns. Duties include the following:

- Production of monthly management accounts including profit and loss
- Monthly journal input
- Maintenance of fixed Asset registers
- Accrual and prepayments
- Reconciliation of control accounts including company debtors and creditors
- Oversee bank reconciliations on deposit and Euro Accounts
- Reconciliation of nominal ledger accounts and currency float
- Accounting duties for a subsidiary company in the Middle East

The accountant role will also include involvement in analysis of expenditure for budgeting purposes, projects and processing expenses. This role would suit an accountant who has previous experience with Management Accounts (preferably from a construction, architecture, design background).
