Assistant Accountant

My client is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Birmingham based accounting team.

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial information for management including balance sheet reporting, general ledger journal postings, daily margin reports, preparation and submission of monthly management accounts for sections of the business and assisting with the preparation of budgets/forecasts and analysis as well as assisting with statutory year end accounts.

The following skills/attributes are required:
? Previous experience of management accounts and reporting.
? A solid knowledge of financial systems including Excel.
? Able to work well within a structured and target driven environment
? Ability to evolve within an ever-changing environment.

You must be part qualified ACCA/CIMA and have previous proven experience of full management accounts production. If you have these requirements please send your CV asap.
