Job Opening: Administrative Office Assistant 2
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada
Job Responsibilities:
• data-entry and retrieval activities, maintaining/updating designated files and record systems, typically using moderately complex computerized systems;
• researching and compiling data and information in various formats (e.g., spreadsheets, graphs, tables, written reports, queries/reports, etc.),
• completing basic calculations and/or analysis requiring some judgement for management review and approval;
• collaborating with senior administrative staff, professional/technical staff and/or the Supervisor/Manager in performing more complex assignments.
General office duties will include answering telephones, responding to a variety of inquiries, operating various office equipment, coordinating/processing mass mail outs, faxing documents, monitoring unit budget and maintaining inventory of supplies, etc.
Success in this role calls for good verbal and written communication skills and a specialized knowledge of file management and data entry/retrieval systems and related computer skills. The ideal job candidate will have completed a one-year Apprenticeship program in the area field of Computer systems and have some experience as an Administrative Office Assistant 1.
