Job Opening: Administrative Assistant
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada
Our client, a downtown Oil & Gas servicing company is seeking a dynamic, experienced Administrative Assistant who will support the VP Global HR, Manager of Administration, the Executive Administrative Team, and various other personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
Providing administrative support to: VP Global Human Resources, Manager of Administration, and the Executive Administration Team
Managing insurance and vehicle requirements as per the Manager of Administration
Booking travel arrangements for all non-executive personnel
Managing the general mailbox and general inquiries for the Company
Planning and managing special events including: Social Club, United Way, various Christmas functions
Assisting with the coordination, production, implementation and/or distribution of various projects
Report generation, research, editing/proof reading, formatting, and preparing presentations, draft letters etc.
Job Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Insurance or HR experience would be an asset
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, solid work ethic and attention to detail
Superior time management and the ability to prioritize
Intermediate to advanced computer skills
Ability to make sound judgment calls, exercise discretion/sensitivity when dealing with confidential information
High level of initiative/self direction, adaptability and flexibility
Strong planning, coordinating and organizing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure, independently and in a team environment
