The Company
International business based in West Sussex is working exclusively with Robert Half to recruit a Reporting Accountant to join their Head Office finance team. The opportunity has arisen due to some impressive growth and would suit someone who is looking to work in a progressive and team focused environment.

The Role
Key tasks for the reporting accountant role involve keeping abreast and updating senior management on changes and developments to statutory and regulatory reporting requirements and ensure reporting deadlines are met. The Preparation of annual report and accounts and quarterly board meeting exhibits. The Preparation of annual and quarterly UK and Ireland regulatory returns. The successful candidate will be Working closely with other members of the Finance team, develop optimum reporting solutions to meet new and emerging financial and regulator reporting processes. The reporting accountant role will involve actively researching new accounting policies, advise senior management of impact to the UK companies, and implement policies where necessary. Ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place around financial and regulatory reporting processes. Any other projects as determined by the Senior Manager - Finance.

The Candidate Requirements for the opening are ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with excellent knowledge of general insurance company statutory and regulatory reporting frameworks. Excellent PC Excel skills and experience of auditing/working with General Insurance (Non Life) companies.

Salary & Benefits
£45,000k - £50,000k plus benefits
