About the Opportunities
Mnaamodzawin Health Services Inc. has a fantastic opportunities for Nurses to join their friendly and dedicated team on Manitoulin Island.
Your goal will be to provide nursing care to individuals, families and communities throughout five different First Nation communities including Aundeck Omni Kaning, Sheguiandah, Sheshegwaning, White Fish River, and Zhiibaahaasing.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have a nurse diploma and be in good standing with The College of Registered Nurses. Specialized health-related experience is essential, as is experience with First Nation communities and knowledge of the Anishnaabe Culture/Customs. An understanding of the needs of chronic mental illness is required, as are strong communication and computer (MS Office) skills. A valid driver's license will be necessary as you will be travelling to various First Nation communities. Successful candidates must also be able to pass a security check.
