Target HR Consultancy have been retained by one of our rapidily expanding clients to recruit a Management Accountant.

Based in Gloucestershire, this rapidly expanding organisation has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) to join and head up their finance function.

Reporting to the Managing Director and overseeing a team of two finance assistants, your role will be to support the business through the day to day financial management of the group, maintaining effective financial controls, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of internal financial management information and providing commercial input into business development and decisions.

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified accountant (from either practice or industry) who is looking for a challenging role that they can learn and develop in. You will be technically very strong and having exposure to working with small businesses (less than £7 Million T/O) and experience of Sage will both be a distinct advantage - this is an ideal role for someone looking to make their first move from practice in to industry. You will be extremely hands on and will not be afraid of rolling your sleeves up at busy times, but also have the ability to look at the finances of the company strategically, manage the cashflow and provide meaningful financial and management information to the board of Directors. For the right candidate the chance to become Financial Controller and then Finance Director of this growing company within a relatively short period of time is a very real possibility.
