The Company
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is pleased to be working with a growing SME software business in Reading. Our client is seeking a progressive part qualified management accountant to join their expanding finance team. The management accountant will be looked to as somebody who in time can grow the team and take on more responsibility and gain experience of staff management

The Role
The management accountant will enjoy a diverse role which will include elements of financial and management accounting. The management accountant will be a progressive studier who will be looked upon to take on more responsibility as the business grows and have staff management responsibility in time.

The role will involve all aspects of the management and statutory financial information are reported accurately on a timely basis. Responsibilities will include timely production of monthly management accounts, calculation of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring the accurate coding of all invoices and expenses and maintaining the chart of accounts and new cost centres to ensure inclusion in relevant GP reporting. Other responsibilities will include approving month end bank reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register and setting up the monthly general accruals, prepayments schedules and procedures for collections of accruals data.My client is also looking for somebody who has a good understanding of financial systems and who can look at the new system which hasn't been explored in depth and see what improvements this can bring to process's such as reporting etc.

Salary & Benefits
A salary of £30000-£35000 is on offer with study support pension and healthcare.
