Overview

Commercial, switched on, immediately available ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant is required to join a high profile, blue chip business in Woking, Surrey as a temporary Financial Accountant.

This is a varied position that requires an outgoing candidate with a strong financial accounting background and experience of SAP or Oracle.

About You

You should have a proven experience of undertaking a hands on Financial Accounting role for a complex, fast paced, listed business where you used SAP or Oracle.

In person you will be outgoing and confident with strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be someone who works well in a complex, busy company and enjoys adding value to processes.

You should be pro-active and self motivated with a tenacious approach.

You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant.

You should have a solid financial accounting experience from within a large, complex company including experience of month end processes, complex inter-company accounting, VAT, and quarter and year end accounting requirements.

About The Role

Working for a large, well known, brand name business in Woking Surrey this role requires someone to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role may include but may not be limited to:

·Preparing financial reporting and analysis

·Performing the month end and quarter end close processes

·Internal reporting

·Balance sheet account reconciliations

·Project work

·Statutory, tax and legal compliance for the accounting team

·Improving accounting processes and procedures

·Providing support to the Year End audit process

·Managing the European inter-company process

·Margin analysis

·Complying with SOX requirements

·Deputise for management where required

The role requires someone pro-active, switched on and happy to work in a busy, complex environment.
