Job Description / Qualification

Financial Accountant up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

My client is a large international business and a global leader in its field. They are based in the heart of the Thames Valley and due to continued growth they need a qualified accountant with approximately 2 years PQE to bolster their UK finance team.
The financial accountant will report in to the finance manager and cover a range of tasks including the management of the regular financial reporting providing input in to management reports, daily cash flow and investment data.

Job requirements

* Manage the production of the financial reporting process keeping up to date with all financial reporting standards and taxation changes
* Ensure consistency of information reported to the Group and externally.
* Manage the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements and FSA returns and quarterly accounts for Group Consolidation.
* Assist the Finance Manager with key information and commentaries for Board meetings
* Assist the Finance Manager in liaising with external auditors on all UK matters
* Get involved in preparing the departmental Business Plan.
* Support the Company's regular expense reporting for internal reporting coordinating the completion of total expenses and IT costs.
* Supervise cash flow process
* Provide information for investment committee meetings
* Overseeing 2 members of staff
* Participation in Ad-hoc projects
