Job Opening: Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB, CANADA


Job Responsibilities:

    Participate in the design of plans, preliminary estimations and details with the use of the guidelines for the projects relating to the field of Buildings.
    Establish design calculations and ensure plans correspond to the guidelines, the code prescriptions and other regulations.
    Establish and maintain relationships with clients in order to define their needs, explain technical information, concepts or study results.
    Produce statements of quantities and prepare budget assessment.
    Verify and complete request for proposals, estimates and other technical documents.
    Supervise the work of Technicians and Draftspersons appointed to the project.
    Assist the project manager when help is needed.
    Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project.

Job Qualifications:

    Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or all other equivalent training.
    5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the design of Buildings.
    Registered P. Eng. with APEGGA.
    Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset
    Good initiative, attention to details.
    Ability to work in a team environment.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
