Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is an international multidisciplinary EPCM, with a strong organizational culture as well as a great work environment. They are looking at adding a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong mining background to their fast growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

Create and analyze project designs in compliance with company, industry and safety standards, engineering principles, customer requirements and related regulations and specifications
Coordinate with other engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects and accurate exchange of project specifications
Routinely inspect and investigate individual sites to anticipate obstacles in the field and problem solve as required
Mentor coworkers in respect to technical know-how
Administration in regards to preparing reports, proposals and feasibility studies

Job Requirements:

· Undergraduate degree in related field
· P.Eng licence
· Excellent knowledge of industry codes, standards and requirements
· Overall understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance, design and operations used in the oil & gas, industrial and mining sectors
· Proficient in industry related software applications
· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work in a time sensitive environment
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
· Ability to work independently or in a team environment
