Job Opening: Junior Network Cisco Analyst
Location: Calgary, AB, CANADA
Our client is looking for Junior Network Cisco Support Analysts for multiple positions. This is a Network Support role and the key skill is Cisco (switches, routers, bridges, hubs). Key skills in this role will be problem determination and problem resolution. Additional skills include configuration and network diagnostics (sniffer). They are not looking for someone with skills in Network Operating Systems, but, someone more with WAN and TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, Ethernet experience. VOIP, Carrier bandwidth analysis and protocols are also nice to have these include ISDN, Frame relay, ATM, etc.
One of the most important skills is communication and vendor relationships. We are looking for someone that can multi-task on the phone; dealing with end clients and as well dealing with vendors. They are looking for long term contractors that will get along with the existing team. Clients are from all over North America.
Job Requirements:
. Excellent English communication skills
. Ability to drive a network problem to resolution by documenting all steps in problem ticketing system
. CCNA preferred
. Graduate from 2 year technical program such as SAIT's NNT (Network Engineering Program)
. Network Protocols: TCP/IP, TELNET
. Network Administration: Monitoring and Performance
. DHCP and DNS
