Position Summary

Senior engineer; independently applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline. Develops designs that require innovation and ingenuity. Work performed with minimal supervision; has considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Job Responsibilities:

Work on government infrastructure projects, especially related to transportation.
Create urban roadways design, highways design and bridge design.
All projects will involve direct interaction with the client
Assist with writing proposals.
Pursue new projects in this area and help with continued growth of the department.

Job Qualifications:

7-10 years experience in transportation / infrastructure is required
BS or MS in civil engineering
Must be a Professional Engineer registered in the Province of Alberta
The candidate must have experience working on government infrastructure projects in the Province of Alberta at either a civic or provincial level.
