Through significant growth the Melbourne sales team now requires a Business development manager to drive sales within the designated market. As an integral part of the national, company wide sales team, the position will ensure the overall success and operation of the company.

Job Description:


Reporting to the Enterprise Sales Manager you will be required to achieve revenue objectives via cross and up selling techniques into new and existing clients. You will identify business opportunities (principally accounting firms) via incoming leads, existing customers and cold calling activities, whilst solution selling to meet business needs. In addition to this you will;

Utilize and maintain the existing customer database,
Provide regular reports and forecasts,
Provide on-site and web based product demonstrations to existing and potential clients,
Represent the company at client events,
Develop and implement an ongoing sales plan to ensure monthly targets and KPI's are met.

The Successful Applicant

You will be an experienced and proven sales professional that is client focused, energetic and pro-active in your approach to new business. You will be able to work autonomously, as well as in a team with a strong attention to detail when developing solution to meet the needs of the consumer. You will also have;

Strong negotiation skills,
Planning, organising and time management skills,
Excellent communication skills - listening/verbal/written,
The ability to present and run technical webinars,
The ability to travel interstate when required,
Current drivers' license and own vehicle.
